Jackson Mayoral candidate Corinthian Sanders (Republican) calls into to discuss the Save Jackson committee and the conversation I had with Rep. Shanks and proceeds to go on a 15 minute tear about Democrats destroying the city of Jackson. It was one of the best and most passionate calls we've had in a while so I was happy to extend my platform to him.

I'll never forgive the leaders and trash citizens of Jackson for forcing me out of my hometown because they destroyed it so badly that you can't stay and fight without help from the state and federal level. I may or may not have ended it with something to the extent of "I'm going to give them hell to they're dead, then I'm going to piss on their graves"

FAFO FRIDAY (Ep #824)

1- I was almost killed 3 times on the way into the station this morning because of terrible drivers, so I figured I'd rant about that for 20 minutes
2- Rep. Fred Shanks called in to discuss the new Save Jackson committee that he's on at the state capitol, they had their first meeting yesterday and a lot of really good information came out of it. A huge portion of it was discussing all of the abandoned and blighted property in Jackson and how to start fighting back against it.

I was flying solo today for the entire 2 hours so I opened up the show talking about today being the 19th anny of Katrina hitting the gulf coast, and talking about my memories of that day and the weeks that followed. The show eventually devolved into culture was chaos with some of the best and worst phone calls we've ever got.

The Last Call at Fenians: We raise a virtual glass to Fenians Irish Pub, a Jackson landmark calling it quits after 28 years. What drove them to the brink? Was it just the usual suspects like crime, or something more?

RANDOM SEGMENT ABOUT JXN BAR HISTORY AND TERRIBLE ARCHITECTURE

After discussing the fact that Fenians Irish Pub is closing this leads to us breaking down the possible reasons they're shutting down (other than just Jackson crime). Somehow or another this ended with us discussing how ugly 1970's - mid 80's architecture was.
